Paralegal

Rudy brings hard work and dedication to the advocacy work he does on behalf of low-income and clients with disabilities.  As a paralegal, Rudy works with attorney Rosemary Dady in preparing cases for hearings before the Social Security Administration’s Administrative Law Judges.

Rudy received his B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley and a Paralegal Certificate from San Francisco State University.  Prior to joining The Hawkins Center, Rudy worked as a mental health counselor for at risk youth, helping those that became part of the Criminal Justice system reintegrate with their families and community. Rudy’s fluency in Spanish, approachable demeanor and passion for applying his abilities to best impact his community are valuable assets to The Hawkins Center and to the clients he serves.
