The Hawkins Center of Rubicon Programs

Patricia Kaspar, Esq.

Pat Kaspar came to work at the Hawkins Center in 2001 and is the lead attorney in our HIV Legal Services Program.  Since then, she has provided legal assistance to indigent and low income HIV positive individuals residing in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.    Pat received her legal education at Hastings College of Law, where she graduated in 1997.   As an undergraduate, she studied Psychology at San Francisco State University.

Prior to her employment with the Hawkins Center, Pat did policy work in the areas of homelessness and housing.  While in Law School, she also completed internships at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office and at The Office of the State Public Defender.

Pat has a number of interests.  She is a drummer in a band which performs regularly throughout the Bay Area, a beekeeper, and an avid cook and seamstress, and she has a twin sister.
